Vintage art Deco ruby engagement ring – Portfolio

To create this 'Ring of the Week', the brief given by our client was to create an Art Deco ring with a cushion cut Chatham Ruby. White diamonds were chosen for the Halo and the beautiful bright white durable Palladium was chosen to complete the light, delicate design. The client wanted to represent each year they had been together before he proposed with three accent diamonds incorporated within the shank arms. He also chose to create a design detail on the channel, finishing in an inverted arrow - drawing inspiration from some of the beautiful vintage antique Art Deco rings. The ring was finished with a millgrain edging which instantly adds a vintage tone to the design. The under gallery was to retain a simplistic design and we matched the profile of the wires to that of the shank for continuity.
